The most common waterproof/ breathability test is the JIS L 1099 B1, also known as the Dessicant Inverted Cup test. In this test the former highest mark achieved was 27,825.6 grams per square meter over 24 hours.
In a recent third party test conducted by SGS-CSTC Technical Services Textile Laboratory, Nanomax registered a score of 272,712 grams per square meter, coming in nearly a full ten times more breathable than the best membrane on the market, and more than 20 times better than your middle of the road membrane.
